First Lutheran Preschool is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for children ages 2 - 5. Our fully qualified staff teaches an age-appropriate curriculum, living the Christian values that they instill in the children:
- "Learning made fun" age-appropriate curriculum
- Chapel on Wednesdays

- Free nutritious family-style meals (breakfast and lunch) and morning and afternoon snacks
- Subsidized (state-funded) programs welcome--we accept Cal Works, Crystal Stairs, LB City students, AFDC participants, Department of Family and Children's services, Children's Home Society (CHS)
- 2- through 5-year-olds
- No birth certificate required
- All staff are trained in CPR and first aid
- Outdoor and indoor play
- Rooms have central heating and air conditioning
- Spacious, well-equipped playground
- Open during summer and spring breaks
- Operate in accordance with Title 5 and 22 rules
- No mandatory parent volunteering
